A Letter From God

I asked the Lord today: Lord, what would you have me write about? Then I began typing. What came from it was a letter from God. I trust that the Lord speaks to us in different ways. His sheep know His voice and I believe sometimes He picks up the pen.

Summer,

My child. You are lovely and beloved. You are the very expression of my beauty; you have been crafted in My image. You are altogether beautiful. There is nothing and no one comparable to the beauty that I have specifically placed in you for the world to see. True beauty comes from within, that which is unperishable of a gentle and quiet spirit. The Truth is that this life is not about you or what you can gain. It is what you give that makes all the difference. Your life is meant to point to me and be a glimpse of the love which I have poured out over you. Your love is infinitely more beautiful than your appearance. You cannot see what I see, but I need you to know that the mere shining of the light is not for soft eyes, it is for the romance of the soul. Your love and your beauty points to a Greater One. Do not forget the love with which I have loved you. I am a good Father and I know how precious my children are. You are worth everything to me. Look at the scars of my Son. Ask Him.
